October 4, 2016 Middletown Township Committee Meeting

The Workshop meeting of the Middletown Township Committee was over within 20 minutes of starting. Nothing of major importance was discussed in public. It seems that these meetings are a nuisance for those involved and the sooner they are over with the better.

Below are the highlights:

• All resolutions were adopted as a consent vote.
• The Township Employee Manual was updated to reflect changes for pregnancies and personal use of vehicles. 
• All Committee members thanked the supporters and staff for a successful Middletown Day.
• A proposal was made by members of the Lincroft Village Green Association (LVGA) to install a sprinkler system at Lincroft Village Park. The proposal included drilling a well, which the LVGA stated to fund.

September 19, 2016 Middletown Township Committee Meeting

Last weeks Middletown Township Committee meeting was sparsely attended and  lasted only 39 minutes. During that time several proclamations, ordinances and resolutions where issued:

• A proclamation was presented to the Gorsegner family recognizing September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
• A proclamation declaring September as National Alcohol & Drug Addiction Recovery Month was presented, but there was no recipient.
• A proclamation Declaring September 24 as Middletown Day was presented, but there was not recipient.

Ordinances were adopted for:

• Rezoning some commercial property along Rt. 35 to residential.
• To vacate a portion of Atlantic Ave.

Resolutions were adopted to:

• Awarded a contract to construct an artificial turf field at Croydon Hall. 
• Purchase equipment for the fire departments 
• Dedicate some benches at the main branch of the library.

Committee Comments start @ 15:58 and covered topics such as the 9/11 memorial and the coming of Middletown Day.

Public Comments start @ 27:50 and members of the public discussed Shadow Lake and shrinking water level and algae control. Access to Stephenson Park, the status of the new Middletown Municipal complex and school crosswalks were also discussed.

Thoughts On Middletown Day 2014

My hat goes off to everyone who helped put Middletown Day together and volunteered their time, without them the day wouldn't have been as successful as it was. The event was well organized and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful day.

However, I was a little disappointed. In years past there seemed to be many more people in attendance then were there on Saturday. I can remember being on the grounds of Croydon Hall and not being able to walk around without bumping or nudging into people. And parking, I didn't have a problem finding a parking space near Croydon Hall, not once but twice. My wife and son volunteered for the day and I walked around the grounds for an hour afterwards before leaving and coming back a couple of hours later. In all I spent about 5 hours at Middletown Day and just couldn't get over how few (relatively speaking) people were there. I was also surprised to see how many marked vendor spaces were unoccupied. Why was that? I couldn't tell you but it was noticeable. I know it seems like I am being nit-picky but this is all just an observation on my part.

While walking around the grounds I stumbled upon the Middletown 350 birthday cake that was donated to Middletown by the "Cake Boss" himself Buddy Valastro of Carlo's Bake Shop. The cake was set up in the Croydon Hall field house behind the "White House". If you didn't know it was there you'd have missed. It wasn't well advertised.  The cake itself was nice, it was pretty big but I wasn't overly impressed with it. I think it was too "busy" and looked a little sloppy even though a lot of work went into making it. After the cake was cut, I did taste a small piece of it. It was good, the cake was firm but moist and the chocolate filling was decadent, but over all it was very sweet. You couldn't eat much if you wanted.

As I said above, my hat goes off to everyone who helped put Middletown Day together and volunteered their time. They did a great job!  Below are just few random pictures from the day.

UPDATE:

I forgot to mention that I stayed to watch the Beatlemania concert and watch the fireworks display. The concert was very enjoyable, you can't go wrong listening to the Beatles. It doesn't matter if the band interpreting the group does a good job or bad job at performing the legendary songs (and the Beatlemania band that night was good), it's the songs that matter and will always be timeless.  The fireworks were also very nice, the display lasted 15-20 minutes with some spectacular mid-air kabooms. It's too bad though that more people didn't stick around to watch. I'd say by that by the time the concert and fireworks started there were less that 300 people there. MM 9/30/14

Reminder Middletown Day Set for September 27

Middletown Day returns to Croydon Hall on Saturday, September 27th from noon to 6:00pm followed by an anniversary concert and fireworks display.

Middletown Day 2014 is the pinnacle of a year-long celebration of the township’s founding 350 years ago. The fall festival will feature an anniversary cake created by the legendary Cake Boss Buddy Valastro, the Business and Community Showcase, live demonstrations, and an expanded food court. The Beatlemania Stage Show will begin at 6:00pm. A fireworks display follows 7:30pm to mark the close of the Middletown 350 celebration.

The Business and Community Showcase features local businesses, community associations and school groups that support Middletown. It’s a great opportunity to learn about the many businesses spread across the township’s 42 square miles and meet the volunteers that work so hard to make Middletown a great place to call home.

The day will also include family favorites such as bouncy houses and carnival games, children's activities, a craft fair, hayrides, live local music, a petting zoo, pony rides, Touch-A-Truck exhibits, and a tag sale.

Middletown Day has opportunities for family learning as well. Learn about nature and colonial times at the Poricy Park Conservancy exhibit; storm water pollution at the Clean Communities display; emergency preparedness at the Emergency Management tent; and fire safety in the Fire Department’s smoke house.

Middletown Day activities and exhibits will close at 6pm. The best place to view the concert and fireworks will be on the football field. A beach chair or blanket is recommended.

Middletown Day, which is sponsored by local business, community groups and individuals, will be held rain or shine. Free shopping bags will be given to the first 1,000 attendees.

Visitors should park at Bayview Elementary School or Kunkel Park and ride the free shuttle to and from the Middletown Day grounds. Continuous round trip shuttle services will be provided every 5 to 10 minutes. Parking very limited at Croydon Hall.

Middletown Day Coming September 27th Sponsors, Volunteers Needed

This year Middletown Day returns to the Great Lawn at Croydon Hall on Saturday, September 27 to mark the end of a year-long celebration of the township’s founding 350 years ago The fall festival will be held from noon to 6pm, followed by an anniversary concert and fireworks. The festival will feature a Middletown 350 anniversary cake created by the legendary Cake Boss Buddy Valastro, the Business and Community Showcase, bouncy houses, a food court and more. An outdoor concert begins at 6pm followed by fireworks at dark.

Sponsors are needed to help celebrate all that makes Middletown special. Sponsorships begin at $100. The benefits of sponsorship increase with the sponsorship. They include a place in the Business and Community Showcase, recognition in promotional materials and more. Donations are tax-deductible. Chad Johnson, but not the one formerly known as "Ochocinco", takes part in Middletown Day charity flag football game

As part of Middletown Day last weekend, a much hyped charity flag football game featuring former NFL Pro-Bowler Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson and other former NFL players against members of the Township Committee and members of the community was to be the closing highlight of the day's event. A $30 dollar ticket to the game entitled purchasers to a special VIP meet-and-greet session with the former players. However, much to the surprise of those who paid $30 a ticket for a VIP meet-and-greet  with the players, Johnson was not in attendance. Or was he?

What an embarrassment, I found this little tidbit in yesterday's Sports section of the NY Daily News!

Middletown officials say there was a Chad Johnson at the game – sort of. A former NFL receiver calling himself Chad Plummer Johnson was among the eight players on hand. 

“Apparently his name is Johnson but he goes by Plummer because he’s always getting thought of as the other Chad Johnson,” Middletown Township Administrator Tony Mercantante tells The Score. “It was just an unfortunate error.” 

Mercantante says that two days before the game, the head of the charitable organization procuring players for it sent Middletown a list of players who were confirmed, “and he said Chad Johnson was coming from Cincinnati. The assumption was, who else could he be talking about? … Apparently they know (Plummer) as Johnson.” 

“So we ran with it, and we probably should have double-checked,” Mercantante says of the township promoting an appearance by “NFL Pro Bowler Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson’” on the Middletown Day website. 

The Score could not find any record of a Chad Plummer Johnson playing in the NFL, but Chad Plummer did play four games for the Indianapolis Colts from 1999-2000. He played his college ball at Cincinnati and did see preseason action as a Bengal, which could have added to the confusion, as could this tidbit: according to one festival attendee, Plummer/Johnson said he was Ochocinco’s cousin...

NFL Pros vs The Shore Things

The finale to this year's September 28th Middletown Day will be a charity flag football game.

Middletown Day 2013 and Dreams for Kids present the NFL Pros vs The Shore Things. Come watch the Township Committee, Board of Education members and Township employees attempt to beat former and active NFL players. Two quarters will also be played by the Middletown Eagles and River Plaza Chargers. Tickets are $10 for the game or $30 for a VIP admission. VIP admission includes a pre-game reception at 6:00pm with active and former NFL players and a game ticket. Due to a limited number of seats, it is recommended tickets be purchased in advance. Tickets can be accessed under the Middletown Day section of the site. Proceeds go to Dreams for Kids and the Middletown Disaster Relief Fund.

Croydon Hall Relief Center Operations Winding Down

The Croydon Relief Center, which was opened in the wake of Superstorm Sandy last year to provide emergency assistance to storm victims, will close April 1.

Middletown’s Volunteer Corps, which manages the center, has teamed up with Project Paul to ensure that residents can continue to access direct assistance such as food and clothes. The Croydon Hall Relief Center will remain open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 am to 2pm through end of March.

Remaining supplies housed at the Croydon Hall gym will be given to Project Paul as of April 1. Project Paul, located at 211 Carr Avenue in Keansburg, has been providing food, clothing and assistance with living expenses to the needy since 1980. Project Paul, a non-profit organization, offers the largest independent food pantry in Monmouth County, a thrift and furniture store, beds and mattresses to qualified residents, free income tax preparation and educational assistance.

In addition, the township is planning a Superstorm Sandy Resource Fair. Expected participants include representatives from FEMA, the state, non-profits, relief organizations and banking and insurance assistance. Event details will soon be posted to the township’s web page.

After hundreds of residents came forward to help their neighbors after Superstorm Sandy, the Township Committee officially established the Middletown Volunteer Corps in 2012 to manage the township’s wealth of kind-hearted volunteers, explained Mayor Gerard P. Scharfenberger.

“The Volunteer Corps is doing an outstanding job managing volunteer services during the recovery phase of Superstorm Sandy,” said Mayor Scharfenberger. “I’m looking forward to reviewing their suggestions regarding the permanent structure and mission of the Volunteer Corps as well as strategies for recruitment and retention of volunteers who will help in future emergencies and with community activities such as Middletown Day.”

10-15-12 Middletown Township Committee Meeting

Last Monday (10/15/12)night the Middletown Township Committee once again meet for their monthly committee meeting.

The meeting was rather long this month due to the fact that so many awards were being given out by the Committee to employees and resident for their various efforts towards the Township and Middletown Day, the meeting lasted roughly 1-1/2 hours.

Public Comments portion of the meeting starts, the most interesting part of these meetings, start at the 64 minute mark of the video.

A homeowner came to ask why no action was taking place regarding the reconfiguring of landscape of his neighbors' property. They said the new lanscaping has caused major flooding problems in his yard to the point of silt filling in his pool. The homeowner said they came in after numerous letters to the Township with no action.

Linda Baum, Democratic Candidate for Township Committee issued a debate challenge to Committeeman Steve Massell. He replied by stating that he would be happy to debate her but then gave a bunch of excuses why he wouldn’t, after of course  Tony Fiore spoke for Massell on the issue.

Bush League: Township Closes Youth Sports Fields To "Encourage" Middletown Day Participation

Talk about bush league moves on the part of Middletown, this is a classic and one that I've never heard of any other towns doing.

Middletown "blacked out" field permits to all youth sports teams for tomorrow in order to encourage participation in the township's "Middletown Day".

This came as news to all the parents and kids who play youth sports over the weekend and based on the comments that I have been getting in my email and those on line at Middletown-Patch, these people aren't very happy about it; vowing not to attend Middletown Day in protest.

According to the statement issued to Middletown-Patch yesterday by Township Administrator Tony Mercantante,  "The Township notified all leagues at the time field permits were being applied for, long before the fall season started, that there was a blackout day on September 29^th and that fields and facilities were not going to be open.

This was done to make Middletown Day more accessible to the Township’s youth, who often in the past found it difficult to fit the festival into their schedules since sports commitments took up much of the day."  

If this is true than  assurances must have been given to the sports leagues at the time fields permits for the season were issued, how else do you explain the email sent out to parents of Lincroft Soccer participants who seem to have been blindsided by the news? I could be wrong, but it seems that plans were made to play :

To All Parents and Players,The following is from the Township: "All facilities are closed and a reservation block had been placed on them for Middletown Day. This is being done with the hope that families would have the opportunity to come down and participate, have their kids compete in the 3 athletic contests, and not have to run back and forth the morning of to any practices or games for any of the youth sports in town. That is why the facility permits issued have the reminder all fields are closed Middletown Day." We will have games next weekend.Kevin WilliamsLSCPresident

Regardless whether or not proper notice was given or plans were or weren't made to play youth sports games on Middletown Day, this is just another example of the arrogance that permeates throughout those that run Middletown and those that organized Middletown Day. Were they really that worried that no one would show up to the festivities and participate in celebrating the town that they felt it necessary to ban all township youth sports programs for the day? 

What made them think the kids would rather come to Middletown day rather than play soccer or fall baseball just because there would be sports "games" being played at Croydon Hall? What, are there no other kids that live in Middletown,who don't participate in organized youth sports that couldn't come out and enjoy the games?

This was a bad precedent to set and oozes elitism that send the wrong signal to parents who's kids don't or can't play youth sports. It says your kids aren't good enough for Middletown, we want only those capable of playing sports entering our events.

8/14-8/20 JCP&L Vegetation Management Aerial Patrol
The following information is provided by JCP&L

Please be advised that the Haverfield Co. will be conducting JCP&L's Annual Supervisory Vegetation Management Aerial Patrol. Haverfield Co. will be conducting the inspections on all JCP&L Transmission Lines, expecting a beginning date of 8/14/2012 through 8/20/2012, weather permitting.

Patrols consist of Transmission Forestry Supervision personnel that accompanies the pilot in order to identify effectiveness of prior year's herbicide application and identification of any conditions warranting further inspection from the ground and/or corrective action.

The pilot will be in communication with any local Airports when in their airspace. The helicopter will be flying at a speed of about 35-40 mph above or alongside the lines, and may circle around for a closer inspection. The helicopter is Tail # N555JC-Grey with a black bottom and stripe.
These inspections are scheduled during the April through September time frame on an annual basis and cover all transmission facilities system-wide.


Rabies Alert
The Middletown Township Health Department has received laboratory confirmation of a bat testing positive for Rabies. This new reports bring the total number of wild animals testing positive for Rabies this year to 5 (1 bat, 4 raccoons ).

A bat was tested after it was found to be in altercations with a dog. This incident happened in the area of Bryna Drive, located in the Lincroft section of Middletown. Luckily, the dog was up to date on its rabies vaccination and only needed to receive a rabies booster and a 45-day quarantine, according to Health Department Director Rich DeBenedetto.

In light of finding a rabid bat, we would like to remind residents about the possibility of wildlife being infected with Rabies. Please make sure all domestic animals (dogs, cats, and livestock) are currently vaccinated with a Rabies shot. If this dog was not currently vaccinated, the owner would have been ordered to confine the animal for six months in an approved pen or facility, or humanely euthanized to protect the family members from possible exposure to the Rabies Virus, DeBenedetto added.

Residents should not be interacting with wildlife. Any homeowners that have bats nesting anywhere in their house should contact a licensed professional pest control service. If you come across a sick or injured animal, keep your distance and please contact Animal Control at 732-615-2094 / 2097 immediately or contact the Police Department after hours and on weekends. Remember, Rabies is a fatal disease. The best course of defense is the vaccination of your pets and not handling or interacting with wildlife.

Middletown Day Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed for Middletown Day 2012. The fall festival will be held rain or shine on Saturday, September 29 at Croydon Hall from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Help is needed with carnival games, and other family fun activities. A commitment of four hours is needed in the morning or afternoon. Civic, fraternal, community, and school groups as well as businesses are always welcome and encouraged to participate. Brush Left at Curb Must Be Removed
The 2012 Curbside Brush Collection is complete. Brush that remains at the curb must be removed. Residents can bring brush to Recycling Center, 52 Kanes Lane, free of charge. Operating hours are Thursday through Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The center is closed Tuesdays and Wednesday. Violators are subject to fines of up to $2,000, up to 90 days imprisonment and/or community service for improper disposal of these materials. Public Works is also authorized to remove improperly disposed materials and assess the cost of removal and disposal against the responsible resident. Call 732-615-2008 for information.

August Tax Payment
The last day for payment without penalty of interest for the August tax quarter is AUGUST 20, 2012.

2011 Senior Freeze Checks (PTR):
The state Division of Taxation has begun mailing 2011 Property Tax Reimbursement (PTR) checks to eligible applicants who filed by the original deadline of June 1, 2012. Members of the public who need assistance can call the Property Tax Reimbursement Hotline at 800-882-6597.

Mayor’s Office Hours – Mon, Aug 20, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Mayor Fiore holds generally holds open office hours at Town Hall on the first and third Monday of each month from 5pm to 7pm, excluding national holidays. No appointments are necessary. Residents are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis to discuss any concerns or issues they may have related to township government. Residents are invited contact the Mayor's office any time at 732-615-2024.

Summer Concert Thurs, Aug 23, 7-9 pm, Croydon Hall
The 2012 Summer Concert Series wraps up on August 23 with a little Doo Wop. RB Express will entertain with Doo Wop from the 40s, 50s and 60s on August 23 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Croydon Hall, 900 Leonardville Road, Leonardo. Concert will be moved indoors in the event of inclement weather. The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by The Middletown Township Education Association (MTEA) and hosted by the Middletown Recreation Department and the Middletown Cultural and Arts Council. Child Seat Safety Checkpoint – Fri, Aug 24, 2:00–7:00 p.m.
Police officers trained as child passenger safety technicians will assist motorists with proper child safety seat installation as well as proper positioning and harnessing of a child. Checkpoints are at Police Headquarters, 1 Kings Highway. No appointment is necessary. In the event of severe weather, rain dates will be announced. The checkpoints, which are fund with state grant monies, are free and open to the public. Contact the Traffic Safety Bureau at 732-615-2045 for details.

Middletown Day will be rain or shine held on Saturday, September 29 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration is underway for the Business Showcase, Car Show and Craft Fair.

Business Showcase – Businesses are invited to offer free games and prizes, literature and giveaways to the thousands of people that visit Middletown Day. Businesses will be given a 10’ x10’ space for a fee of $250. Space is limited. Spots will be filled on a first-come first served basis. (Middletown Community Groups and Schools can request a free 10x10 space.) Register by September 14, 2012.

Car Show – The Lions Club will present this year’s Car Show. Restored and modified cars welcome. Free dash plaques and welcome bags will be provided first 100 entries. Advance registration is $20. Registration day of show is $25. More than 25 trophies and plaques will be presented. Car show is located in paved Parking Lot adjacent to Senior Center.

Craft Show – Don’t miss the chance to sell your wares to thousands of visitors. Single 10’ x 10’ spaces are $75 and double spaces are $130. Space is limited. Register by September 14.

Update 11: Water Co. Eases Hours for Odd/Even Outdoor Watering

The following information is provided by New Jersey American Water

New Jersey American Water customers in Monmouth County remain under a schedule of odd/even outdoor watering, however the company today lifted the 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. time frame when outdoor watering was permitted. While customers are no longer restricted to watering within those set hours, the company advises customers to conserve water inside and outside of their homes, and to use water wisely. Significant increases in water demand could result in the reimplementation of stricter water use guidelines.

“Odd/Even watering has been used over the past few years in our Monmouth system and this is not unusual for systems that experience high seasonal demands related to lawn irrigation,” said Stephen P. Schmitt, vice president of operations for New Jersey American Water.

“To simplify this for our customers we are removing the additional time of day requirement. A time of day approach was used to allow time for the system to recover between the established demand periods.

“Our time of day usage monitoring over the past two weeks indicates that demands have stabilized. We thank our customers for their cooperation and assisting us in managing the water resources in Monmouth County.”

The odd/even watering schedule entails:

Outdoor water use on odd-numbered days of the month if your street address is an odd number (i.e., 23 Oak St., 7 Maple Ave.)
Outdoor water use on even-numbered days of the month if your street address is an even number (i.e., 6 Oak St., 354 Maple Ave.)

Child Seat Safety Checkpoint – Sat, July 28, 2:00–7:00 p.m.
Police officers trained as child passenger safety technicians will assist motorists with proper child safety seat installation as well as proper positioning and harnessing of a child. Checkpoints are at Police Headquarters, 1 Kings Highway. No appointment is necessary. In the event of severe weather, rain dates will be announced. The checkpoints, which are fund with state grant monies, are free and open to the public. Contact the Traffic Safety Bureau at 732-615-2045 for details.

Flood Insurance Discount Available for Homeowners
Middletown homeowners interested in purchasing or renewing flood insurance policies may be eligible for a discount on their policies because Middletown participates in FEMA’s Community Rating System.

All standard rate policies in zones A or V are eligible for the 10% discount. Standard rated flood insurance policies in zones B, C, X, D, AR, and A99 are entitled to a 5% discount. Preferred risk policies, which are applicable in zones B, C, and X are already discounted and are not eligible for further discount.

“I encourage homeowners to remind their insurance agents about the discount when it comes time to renew their policies,” said Mayor Anthony P. Fiore. Middletown Day – Be A Part of the Fun
Middletown Day will be held on Saturday, September 29 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration is underway for the Business Showcase, Car Show and Craft Fair.

Business Showcase – Businesses are invited to offer free games and prizes, literature and giveaways to the thousands of people that visit Middletown Day. Businesses will be given a 10’ x10’ space for a fee of $250. Space is limited. Spots will be filled on a first-come first served basis. (Middletown Community Groups and Schools can request a free 10x10 space.) Register by September 14, 2012.

Car Show – The Lions Club will present this year’s Car Show. Restored and modified cars welcome. Free dash plaques and welcome bags will be provided first 100 entries. Advance registration is $20. Registration day of show is $25. More than 25 trophies and plaques will be presented.

Craft Show – Don’t miss the chance to sell your wares to thousands of visitors. Single 10’ x 10’ spaces are $75 and double spaces are $130. Space is limited. Register by September 14.

The program is funded through a grant from the state Division of Highway Traffic Safety. Please remember state law requires that all children below the age of 8 years or less than 80 lbs. in weight must be seated in a child restraint system. Middletown Begins Single Stream Recycling July 2
Middletown residents will be freed from sorting recyclables this Independence Day as the township transitions to single stream curbside recycling.

Starting Monday, July 2nd the practice of collecting glass, plastic and metal containers in one pick-up, then newspapers and cardboard in another pick-up several weeks apart will come to an end. All permitted recyclable materials can be put into the same containers. Recycling will still be collected twice a month, but residents can put all their recyclables out each time, Mayor Anthony Fiore announced.

The switch to single stream recycling is part of new garbage and recycling collection contracts with Republic Service/Marpal Disposal and Future Sanitation. The five-year contracts will save the township nearly $500,000 compared to the previous contracts, the mayor said.

“It’s a real win-win situation. Under the new contract the township will be able to reduce costs and increase services,” the mayor said. “In addition to the convenience and environmental factors, single stream recycling will make the collection process more efficient, cut costs and generate new revenues.”

With single stream recycling, ALL cans, plastic containers, bottles, jars, cardboard, newspapers, office papers & mixed papers (junk mail, magazines, coupon inserts) can be placed into the SAME containers. There is NO change to the collection schedule. All recyclables will be collected twice a month based on the existing schedule by zone, said Public Works and Engineering Director Ted Maloney. Meet the Mayor at the Library July 2
Middletown Mayor Anthony P. Fiore will host Meet the Mayor nights at the Middletown Library, 55 New Monmouth Road, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm July 2 and July 16.

Residents are invited to stop by to discuss issues related to Township government. Meet the Mayor nights replace regularly scheduled office hours at Town Hall on these dates. The Mayor generally holds office hours at Town Hall on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, excluding federal holidays. Residents can also reach the Mayor by calling his office at 732-615-2024 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.



Middletown Day Community Showcase
A new feature at Middletown Day will be the Business and Community Showcase. Middletown Businesses, Schools, and Community Organizations are invited to set up a booth at the fall festival to help us showcase all that makes Middletown special. Businesses will be provided a 10’x10’ booth space for a fee of $250 (Booth space is free for sponsorships of $500 or more). A free 10’x10’ booth space will be provided to 501c3 Middletown organizations. Middletown schools may also reserve one free space per school. Download application.
