Here are the latest two video recordings of the Middletown Townshp Committee. the first video is of the May 19th, 2014 monthly Business meeting and the second video in the June 2nd, 2014 Workshop meeting. I have to be honest, I haven't had a chance to watch either of these videos as of yet but I plan to catch up on them later this week.
5 19 14 Township Committee Meeting
June 2, 2013 Middletown Township Committee Meeting
As always, you can download a copy of the Meeting Agenda that contains the discussion items and the proposed resolutions and ordinances that were voted on or presented during the meeting. A box around an item is a link, bringing you further into the document to that resolution or ordinance. HERE is the Agenda for the May 19th meeting (the Meeting Agenda for the June 2nd meeting with all the links and bill list is currently not posted. I will post when available). At the end of the resolution there will be a link bringing you back to the agenda. Attached to this agenda is also the monthly bill list, so that everyone can see how the Township is spending our tax dollars.

Middletown Township Meetings Now Online
By Linda Baum
Did you know that video recordings of Township Committee meetings are available online? You can find them along with videos for some township board meetings at YouTube channel MiddletownOG, short for Middletown Open Government.
Meeting materials like the agenda and resolutions are provided with a meeting summary highlighting key topics. For some meetings, full minutes are available.
The first Township Committee meeting was video recorded in February 2012. Residents volunteer their time to provide this service to increase transparency and public awareness.

10-17-12 Library Board Meeting
Here is an example of what I was speaking about with my last post pertaining to video recording various township meetings and broadcasting them over the Township's public access channels Comcast 20 & Verizon Fios 26. This video is from the most recent Middletown Township Board of Trustees Meeting.
Many people use the library every day and care about how it is run but don't have the time to attend one of these meeting. A lot is discussed at these meetings but the public knows very little about what transpires. There are a lot of discussions about how to make the library more responsive to the needs of the children in town, broadcasting these meetings would be a great service to the community.
At this meeting sources of revenue were discussed. A proposal was made to rent DVDs, like a Blockbuster would. However when ideas from the public were made, Board member Stephanie Murray lashed out and questioned the credentials of the speaker to see if they were qualified to make such suggestions.
Not very professional on Township Committee member Stephanie Murray's part.
Here is the meeting agenda for the 10/17/12 Library Board meeting to make it easier to follow along.
