Leonard Cohen's “Hallelujah” is a beautiful song and favorite song of mine. It sends chills down my spine each time I hear it regardless of who performs it. This version is no different.
In this version the band Cloverton, has rewritten the lyrics to tell the story of the birth of Christ. Like the original, this is a beautiful song. As far as I'm concerned, it should be place on a regular rotation at all those radio stations around the country, that are playing Christmas music this time of year. It's that good.
