Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony & Holiday Extravaganza Sunday, December 7th

This free annual event hosted by the Middletown Arts Center will begin outside with caroling, the tree lighting ceremony and a visit from Santa Claus on the fire truck. The event will continue indoors with hot chocolate and treats, holiday crafts for the children and pictures with Santa. It is requested that those interested in getting pictures taken with Santa bring their own camera.

The MAC will also be collecting items for Operation Jersey Cares and attendees can make a holiday card for the troops. Click here suggested items most needed by troops.

The MAC’s 2014 Winter Wonderland Art Exhibition will be on display in the gallery throughout the event. Art submissions accepted December 1-2, 11 am to 7pm. The Opening Reception will be 3-5pm on Sunday, December 7th before the extravaganza begins.

The Middletown Arts Center will also present a Christmas Variety Show featuring dancers from instructor Miss Deena’s dance program and musicians of all ages from across the region participating in TubaChristmas. More details at www.tubachristmas.com.
