The Buono for Governor campaign recently released a web video, "Chrissy and Paul," highlighting the Fiorenzo family's struggle to rebuild and receive assistance after Hurricane Sandy. Nearly one year after Sandy struck, the family is still living in a trailer at Baker's Acres campground in Little Egg Harbor, as they wait for essential funds to begin repairing their home. Sandy survivors, like the Fiorenzo family, have waited long enough to move back into the homes and move forward with their lives.
The Fiorenzo's story is one that is all too familiar to many in the bayshore area that are still waiting for assistance nearly a year after the storm.
