New Buono Campaign Ad: He Wants To Be President, She Wants To Be Your Governor

If you haven't seen it yet, the Buono campaign released their first TV commercial the other day for the general election. It's entitled "Your Governor". The ad talks about what we already know.

Chris Christie isn't running for Governor, he is auditioning for the 2016 presidential primary. He would rather focus on pushing his radical agenda than focus on fixing the problems facing our state.

Booker Releases First Senare Campaign Ad

Newark Mayor and Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Cory Booker released his first T.V. spot for the upcoming special election for the U.S. Senate seat left open by the passing of Senator Frank Lautenberg earlier this month. The 30 second campaign ad titled "Run" will begin airing tomorrow.

Buono For Governor Releases New Television Ad “Another New Jersey”

New Brunswick, NJ – Today, the Buono for Governor campaign unveiled its first television ad “Another New Jersey.” The ad sets the record straight on Governor Christie's failed economic record and introduces Senator Buono's powerful life story to voters across the state.

Buono for Governor Campaign Manager Jonathan Ducote released the following statement about “Another New Jersey”:

“Our new television ad sets the record straight on Governor Christie's failed economic record and introduces New Jerseyans to Senator Buono’s humble upbringing as the daughter of an immigrant butcher. The New Jersey that Senator Buono grew up in was rich with opportunities for working and middle class families, but those opportunities are slipping away under the Governor's policies. While he has turned a blind eye to the middle class over the past three years, Senator Buono will fight everyday as governor to build a New Jersey where every child has the same chance to succeed that she had.”

Buono for Governor Releases "Always Proud" Ad

Last week, the Christie campaign released an ad that tried to paint a rosy picture of New Jersey. Yesterday, the Buono campaign released "Always Proud" to give the real story.

"In his campaign's first television ad, Governor Christie papered over the truth about how his policies have devastated the working poor and middle class. Our new web video sets the record straight by highlighting just how bad he has been for New Jersey.", said Buono campaign spokesman David Turner.

...Christie's ad didn't exactly tell the full story on the last four years in New Jersey. It is time to nominate Barbara Buono for governor of New Jersey - Vote June 4th.

Barbara Buono Has Chris Christie "Running Scared"

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Barbara Buono appeared on MSNBC's the Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell last night and according to O'Donnell, Senator Buono has Governor Christie "running scared". How else do you explain Christie's spending $1.2 billion running a campaign ad this early in his reelection bid?

The Democratic gubernatorial candidate challenging Chris Christie in his re-election bid, Barbara Buono, appeared on MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell to clarify Chris Christie’s record on taxes, spending cuts, massacre control and education–topics the New Jersey governor all touched on in his first TV ad of his re-election campaign.

With a substantial buy of $1.2 billion, the Republican governor’s campaign began running the ad Wednesday in New York City and Philadelphia TV markets. Christie’s ad touts bipartisanship, saying his ability to reach out to both sides of the aisle got “New Jersey back on track.”

“Working with Democrats and Republicans, believing that as long as you stick to your principles, compromise isn’t a dirty word,” the narrator says.

“It is a little surprising,” Buono told O’Donnell, questioning the early ad buy. “It shows his numbers are artificially inflated because of Hurricane Sandy.”

The New Jersey State Senator, who has been backed by Newark Mayor Cory Booker, bashed the title of Christie’s ad, “Jersey Proud,” pointing out that New Jerseyans “are not proud of the governor’s record on unemployment” with over 400,000 still jobless.

“He’s living in some alternative universe where, you know, we are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to economic growth, and yet he’s calling it a New Jersey comeback. I beg to differ and I’m going to change that,” Buono promised...
