The following letter appears online at the Atlantic Highlands Herald:
Dear Editor:
Only in Chris Christie’s culture of arrogance and entitlement could Stephanie Murray run for reelection to the Middletown Township Committee under the slogan “Taxpayers First.” Ms. Murray had a tax lien on her home for unpaid income taxes and now earns a living from a second taxpayer funded job. In August she was appointed Borough Administrator for West Long Branch notwithstanding that she has no real financial training. Her running mate Tony Fiore who also seeks reelection to the Middletown Township Committee is part of the same culture. Mr. Fiore “boasts about… his fiscally austere ways, mirroring the methodology of Governor Chris Christie.” (Middletown Patch, November 7, 2011). Perhaps Mr. Fiore does not know that under the Christie regime, New Jersey’s credit rating has been lowered a record 11 times. (New Jersey.com, March 27, 2017).
Mr. Christie, Ms. Murray, and Mr. Fiore are perfect together. Let’s keep them together. By voting out Ms. Murray and Mr. Fiore on November 7, 2017, they can join Mr. Christie who thankfully leaves office in January 2018.
R. Judice
Middletown, nj

I could not agree more. I received the Democratic flyer that echoed the same quotes.
It was the first time I can remember getting a political flyer in the mail that did not endorse anyone specifically. It just said don't vote for these two people.
That should tell you something.
Let's not forget that a few elections back, before the people of NJ discovered that Christie didn't give a rats arse about NJ, Fiore ran as part of the "Christie Team" which was plastered all over town on their campaign signs.
And just like Christie, Fiore is all about Fiore. He jumped off the Christie ban wagon as soon as Christie's poll numbers started to circle the drain. Let's send this political opportunist packing. He typically receives the least amount of Republican votes on the ballot because even Republicans have to hold their noses to vote for this guy.
Fiore is definitely my second choice. My first choice is anyone else.
Look into the Library funds...
They've been shedding workers like crazy but what are they doing with the money...???
Is it going back to the library?
I sincerely doubt it.
