Sunday was a good day!

Well, I thank God that today is finally coming to an end, it was a very good day indeed. Not only did I get up early and prepare my turkey for roasting (that's right, I roasted a turkey today. I missed out on Thanksgiving because of my work schedule), took care of the outside of the house and the Giants beat the Jaguars 24 -20 and the Bears beat the Eagles 31-26. I couldn't have asked for a better day!

Here are a few pictures from outside the house with the Christmas Decorations glowing, I still have a few more to put out.

Princess the Camel Picks Super Bowl XLII Winner

The prognosticator of Popcorn Park Zoo, Princess the Camel, made her final prediction for this years NFL season it was reported yesterday in the Asbury Park Press.

After a somewhat successful season picking the winning teams, Princess record stands at an impressive 16 - 5 .

Of her most publicized picks, the Giants over the Eagles in their NFC Divisional playoff match up and then the Eagle over the Cardinals in the NFC Championship game, Princess picked the losers.

What was her final prediction of the season ? Princess picked the Pittsburgh Steelers over the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLII.

Seems like a safe bet for me, but afer being burned twice by Princess during the playoffs, I think that I'm going with the Cardinals !

More on that tomorrow.

Princess the Camel Picks The Giants Over the Eagles This Weekend

This is welcomed news if you are a Giants fan, the prognosticating camel of Popcorn Park Zoo, Princess, has chosen the NY Giants over the Philadelphia Eagle in this weekends NFL playoff matchup of  NFC East Division rivals according to the Asbury Park Press.

Princess's record in predicting the out come of NFL games this year stands at 15-3.  John Bergmann, the general manager of the Popcorn Park Refuge has been quoted as saying "This is Princess' third year of picking teams. She's always had an edge, but this year is unbelievable, no human can predict, no computer can calculate winners with such accuracy."

As a big Giants fan myself, I love this prediction and will take good news anywhere I can get it. If memory serves me correctly, I believe that Princess also picked the Giants over the Patriots in the Superbowl last year.

To be fair to Eagle fans, I must mention that Princess split this years games between the two teams this year, her pick of the Giants over the Eagle in week 14 was wrong, the Eagles won that game 20-14. So I suppose the Eagles still have a small chance at victory.
