Keansburg Candidates to hold open house at Campaign Headquarters

Press Release:

Slate invites public to come for a day of fun and food, meet Anthony, Tom and George

KEANSBURG BOROUGH (MONMOUTH COUNTY, NEW JERSEY) – Candidates for Keansburg Borough Council Anthony DePompa, Tom Foley and George Hoff are inviting borough residents to come to their Campaign Headquarters, 320 Main Street in town, on Saturday, April 14 between the hours of 1-3 p.m.

There will be a host of amusements for the family at the event, including food (pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc.), cotton candy, candy apples and even a clown for the kids, among others. Meanwhile, the candidates will be standing by to talk to anyone about any issue in town they would like to.

“Keansburg is a wonderful town,” DePompa said, “it’s a place for families and what we are hoping to do is provide a relaxed atmosphere where people can bring their wives or husbands and their kids and feel comfortable.”

“I think creating a nice event where families can get together, with something there for the kids, is a great idea. I also hope to meet with a lot of people and hear what is on their minds when it comes to where they want to see the borough heading in the future,” Hoff said.

“A lot of us who have kids see this as a chance for them to go to a function and not just dread it, while it gives adults a chance to talk to myself and my running mates, about things they are thinking about where it regards the town,” Foley noted.
