How will all of this affect Middletown in the upcoming 2012 Money Magazine Top 100 Places to Live survey, which is a quality of life survey? Crime is one of the things measured in the survey.
I'm not sue but I would think that it would have some kind of negative impact.
Better to get these losers off the streets than let them run amok. I'd rather our town was actually safe than read some fictional rating in a magazine. Seems like the drugs and alcohol arrests are out of sight. So glad that they are cracking down on that local dealer Ballard-he's been getting away with murder for too long. Particularly disturbing are the people arrested going the wrong way or making illegal turns at the barrier while drunk or high. People have been complaining the police aren't doing their jobs-here they are doing them and people are still complaining. Let them do it and keep our families safe. Considering the fact that people will get more desperate with this terrible economy, it's good to have a strong police presence which might deter crime.
