On March 20, 2011 at approximately 2:45 pm Corporal Bernard Chenoweth responded to the Target Store in reference to a shoplifting. Upon arrival store security advised the officer that they had observed a woman, identified as Allyson Forte, age 40, from Gayle Drive in Middletown, enter the store and begin collecting merchandise.
Forte then proceeded to the guest service counter where she spoke with store employee, William Acton, age 23, from Nevada Drive in Hazlet, NJ. Forte then, with Acton’s knowledge and assistance, returned the items she had just collected without a receipt and received a store gift card with approximately $1,300.00 worth of store credit.
She then continued shopping and was observed concealing merchandise on her person. She was arrested as she attempted to leave the store. The officers also arrested Acton for allowing Forte to return the items which he knew she had not purchased.
Both subjects were transported to police headquarters where they were charged with Shoplifting. They were processed and released on a summons pending a court appearance.

Hey Mike, This was posted on 10-18-11 on the Middletown Police Blog: Allyson Forte, age 40, from Gayle Street in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 14, 2011 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Englishtown Municipal Court. She was released after posting $400.00 bail.
Hello. I know that this was from a very long time ago, but this is absolutely a misunderstanding. I have been friends with her for a very LONG time, and she would never do something like this. Sorry to break all of your hearts, but honestly there must be something better for all you commenters to do then eat this fake stuff up. Thanks.
Hello. I just found this, and I know it's been a long time and I have something to say. Really? This is pathetic. I know this woman, and she's one of my best friends. She wouldn't do this. She is a great person, and it was only a misunderstanding. She wouldn't do this to her family. Honestly, all of these commenters should pray to god for forgiveness. It's sad how these commenters have nothing better to do then eat this fake stuff up. Thank you.
