Middletown Pays Tribute to Sept. 11 Victims

Members of the Middletown Township Committee will pay a silent tribute to the 37 residents who died in the World Trade Center tragedy with a wreath-laying at the Middletown WTC Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, September 11th at 8:46 a.m. The time marks the start of the terrorist attacks 12 years ago when the first plane hit the towers. Committee members will be joined by representatives of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2179, American Legion Post 338 and American Legion Post 515. Read more

9/11 Ceremony Set for Sept 11, 6:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens

Middletown Township will hold a remembrance ceremony on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at the Middletown World Trade Center Memorial Gardens in memory of the 37 residents who died in the World Trade Center Tragedy seven years ago. The evening will include a wreath laying ceremony followed by a reflective walk through the gardens.

The ceremony will be held rain or shine. The gardens are located at 36 Church Street next to the Middletown Arts Center. Visitors can park at the Middletown Train Station.
