Pallone to Announce Senate Campaign Tomorrow

It is widely expected Congressman Frank Pallone will announce his candidacy for the U.S. Senate tomorrow afternoon after handing in petitions containing over a 1,000 signatures from supporters from  all around his 6th Congressional District and State at the New Jersey Division of Elections.   Pallone will be running in the special election this fall to replace Frank Lautenberg who passed away last week.

Pallone will be hold a press conference on the steps of the New Jersey Division of Elections in Trenton tomorrow afternoon at 1:30pm, he will deliver a statement announcing his candidacy then answer questions.

I wish Pallone well, he's my congressman and I like him but he will have stiff competition for the nomination, both Congressman Rush Holt and Newark Mayor Cory Booker have announced their intentions to enter the race.
