Middletown Patch: Armed Men Rob Domino's Pizza Delivery Man With Gun, Bat

After tipping off Middletown Patch earlier today about what happened last night outside my home, editor Chelsea Naso was able to get the story from Middletown authorities:

A Domino's Pizza delivery man was robbed by two men armed with a handgun and a bat early Saturday morning, according to Detective Lt. Steve Dollinger. 
Middletown Police responded to Geary Drive after receiving a 911 call reporting an armed robbery at about 1:10 a.m. on June 29. 
The victim told police that he finished making a delivery and was getting back into his car when he was approached by two men, one armed with a handgun and the other armed with a baseball bat.

This is an outrage. How could anyone do such a thing? Those poor people must have been starving. I hope they are okay.

According to the reports on TV (channel 12 news) these armed robbers have struck in Union Beach also. They are following the delivery cars.
