Ann B. Reid 7/24/1944 - 5/29/2013

(Ann B. Reid)

My mother-in-law Ann Reid passed away last night after losing her long battling with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was a kind and gentle soul with a heart of gold. She will be missed deeply by everyone she touched. She truly was a special person and I consider myself fortunate to have had her in my life. No one could have wished for or had a better mother-in-law than her, God broke the mold after he made her.

There is so much that can be said about her and words can't express what she meant to all of us that knew her especially my son Stephen, who posted the following on his Facebook page last night:

This may be your last night but i will always love you Nana...you fought so hard these past few months and I will always keep you in my heart. You were there when I was born and you were there to see my grow all the way into adulthood. My only wish was that you could have seen my graduate.... I know the fight you have been going through has been tough for everyone but I will always remember the times we had and the apple pies we would share... I pray that you will continue the love you always shared with others while you are gone and I will always know you will be watching me continue playing this game called life. All your gifts I will keep close until the day we see each other again Nana... I will be sure to tell all about you to my children and I'm sure Ryan and your other grandchildren will do the same... Your memory will not be forgotten Shorty...I promise you that.
RIP Ann Burke Reid my Nana, my friend, my "Shorty".... I love you and hope to see you again one day.... :')
Final arrangements haven't been made just yet, when they are I'll post an update.

Goodnight "Annie" wherever you are....
