The Buono for Governor campaign picked up another endorsement yesterday when former state party chairman and former assembly majority leader, Assemblyman Joe Cryan (D-20) announced his support for Sen. Barbara Buono's candidacy for governor.
Cryan made his announcement while attending the Women's Political Caucus of New Jersey in New Brunswick, where he was accepting the organization's "Good Guy" Award.
Cryan's endorsement comes on the heels of Buono announcing the official kick off of her campaign scheduled for February 2nd, at New Brunswick High School (If you would like to attend you need to RSVP).
Even though Joe Cryan may have fallen out of favor with Democratic Party big-wigs over the past year, make no mistake, Cryan's endorsement is big. Cryan's democratic machine will be extremely useful getting out the vote and helping with much needed fundraising for Buono's uphill battle against Christ Christie.
