Mitt Romney's Condescending Views Toward Wome

Tuesday night, President Obama won the debate and laid out the clear choice in this election. Americans saw a strong, steady and decisive president with a vision and plan to move this country forward. And when Mitt Romney tried to mislead voters -- which was pretty often -- the President exposed the real Romney.

Romney was shifty when it came to women's issues. He gave an awkward and dishonest answer about his refusal to stand up for legislation that helps women fight back when they don't receive equal pay for equal work. While the President talked about women as breadwinners for American families, Romney talked about them as resumes in a "binder." Romney also didn't tell the truth about his plan to take away women's access to affordable contraception by repealing Obamacare, or his support of an extreme proposal to put employers in charge of whether female employees can get contraception through their insurance plan. Today, his campaign called the issue of birth control "peripheral" for most women. Um, ok.

I don't think you do yourself any favors Mike by printing posts like that.

I realize that some people feel a need to demonize anyone who has a different opinion than them. However, this place would be better off filtering out vulgar attacks on entire groups of people, even if you share their views Mike.

Anon 12:56p.m.:

So it's vulgar when the lying nitwits provoke a reply from the women they demean and it's not profane when those same nitwits assail the rights of the women in this country.

Sickos, these nitwits are. What's good for the goose is good for the gander also. How do you like it when there is a heinous proposal to invade your body or your rights, male chauvinistic moron ?

The women in this country are not second class citizens because of an accident of birth, being born female instead of male in gender !

Don't like "fair play"...go over to MMM and spout your opinions there where they are probably more likely to be embraced.

Even when Mitt tried to pat himself on the back he wound up lying. Those binders were given to him, without him asking, and he apparently did not avail himself of those candidates. It's not so much the antiquated language that I am concerned about, it is the absolute inability of Romney to tell the truth or stick with a position for more than five minutes. In the final analysis, he stands for nothing other than getting elected.

Let us hope this willow in the wind is never, ever elected to public office again in his lifetime ! He stands for nothing !

There are much better choices in this country but Mitt Romney is NOT one of them.
