The It's Your Town - Video Newsletter for the Monday night April 2, 20112, workshop meeting of the Middletown Township Committee has been posted online for your viewing pleasure.
It was announced at this meeting that the Township had entered into an agreement with a non-profit entity (Titan Junior Hockey) to lease the Middletown Swim Club and will purchase it by the year's end. The Titan's came to the meeting with conceptual drawings of the facility they want to provide. It will include an indoor ice hockey rink and another indoor sports building.
There are still however many questions left to be answered.
As a companion to the video, you can download a copy of the meeting agenda that contains the proposed resolutions and ordinances that were voted on or presented during the meeting. A box around an item is a link, bringing you further into the document to that resolution or ordinance. At the end of the resolution there will be a link bringing you back to the agenda. Attached to this agenda is also the monthly bill list, so that everyone can see how the Township is spending our tax dollars.

Like which ones???
I pretty much understand whats going on here!
Like how can all this be done by a not for profit organization? Someone is making a lot of money and Middletown isn't seeing any taxes on the property. Does this seem odd to anyone else?
