Have you seen these signs? They're popping up all over town. This one is located at the intersection of Newman Springs Rd and Swimming River Rd in Lincroft.
As of right now, no one is taking responsibility for them ( I know for a fact it's not the Dems) ,but word has it that they are being put out by a group of disgruntled members of the Middletown GOP who are fete up with Gerry Scharfenberger and the current Republican members of the Township Committee over the handling (or lack there of) of the Lincroft turf complex issue and other concerns.
So upset in fact, that Scharfenberger will not be running unopposed during the Republican primary in June. Word has it that Tony Avalone, the Director of the Lincroft Village Green Association has decided to challenge Scharfenberger for the party nomination.

Seems the township keeps hurting Lincroft. Time to go. They have a great discord for the Lincroft Residents because the stand up for their community and have no ulterior motives except to make their town better. Love the Dump Scharfy signs, but they keep getting removed, word is that the township is instructing them to be removed ! On our tax dollars! Township beware cameras are watching.
Best they not remove the signs from private property.That's against the law.
Hasn't this gang ever heard of the Bill of Rights,the Constitution or "freedom of speech???

I agree! They better not take my signs! Didn't some clown almost get arrested a few years ago for stealing political signs?

Great analogy, but there can be fractions that are upset with the way the township has been doing business over the past few years and wish to see change.
There ren't very many happy republicans in Lincroft these days.
You got that right about the many unhappy Republicans in Lincroft. Great to see someone stand up to Scharfenberger. He has only himself to blame with the lies and deception from the last 3 months alone. When you don't show respect; you don't earn it.
Anyone know where to get some signs? Put them right next to all the No West Front St. Sports Complex signs that may remain there till November just to make sure people do not forget!

Yes, it was a Democrat Committeeman who was nabbed for stealing Republican signs. That "evil" GOP group chose not to press charges.

If you are going to rehash old events the least you can do is get the story right.
The person you refer to was NOT stealing signs. He moving them from one area and intended to place them a few hundred feet further down hyw. 35.
The person in question went to court and it was decided that it was in the best interests of all involved, not to pursue charges because that "evil" GOP group steal more signs then the Dems ever have.

Yes a man was arrested for stealing political signs. He infact was a Dem.
The "Dump Scharfy signs are not political signs they are not being claimed by anybody and are noot funded by anyone. there is just some coward out in Middletown trying to out down the GOP in this childish way. they cannot even spell out his name. this to me is nothing political just stupid. i wish the coward who is doing this would step foward.
They are not being taken down on private property only public. And it is probaly the town's adminastration and the GOP, i do not blame them, would you really want that garbage being spread around the town. all it consists of is poor attempts by the dems to knock Scharfenberger out in November.
