Small Factory Productions is recruiting children ages 5 to 12, who may need a little assistance socializing with friends, for a social skills research study conducted by researchers at Princeton University. Students will be placed into a social group that best fits their age and skill level. The lessons being covered include: * Eye Contact
* Introductions
* Generating Topics
* Topic Elaboration
* Topic Closure
* Personal Space
* Facial Expressions
* Body Language
There are 4 different weekly sessions available: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays - 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. The cost is $250 for 10 classes ($25 per class; insurance may cover this cost).
The study will be conducted at locations in Fair Haven, Hazlet and Manalapan.
Students will need to schedule a free evaluation prior to the commencement of the group (first assessment will be May 21).
