The world is laughing at President Trump. They see him for what he really is: dangerously incompetent and incapable of world leadership.— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) December 5, 2019

Holt Video - I'm With Rush
Just before the holiday weekend I received and email from the Rush Holt for Senate campaign that contained a link to the video below.
In the video Holt's background as a scientist/teacher and his progressive stands and voting record in Congress are highlighted by a number of people both young and old that rattle off a list of issues that are near and dear to them.
The video also takes a passive aggressive, subtle swipe at one of Holt's U.S. Senate challengers, front runner Cory Booker. The swipe happens when a young African-American supporter states, " I like Cory Booker but for Senate, I'm with Rush".
Overall I like the video, it's effective, concise and charmingly quirky, playing off the "Big Bang Theory" geekiness of Holt's background and supporters.
Rush is a teacher, scientist and a true progressive. No one will fight harder for progressive policies in the US Senate.
Rush has taken on the Republicans in Congress - voting against the war in Iraq, to repeal the PATRIOT Act, against warrantless surveillance of Americans, and against Republican cuts to Social Security and Medicare.
In the Senate, Rush will be a leader on progressive issues, like increasing education funding, expanding background checks to ALL gun sales and building a smart national energy grid.

Patch Video Depicts Area Around MiddletownMike's Neighborhood
This video was posted on Middletown Patch a few hours ago. It depicts the area in my immediate neighborhood. I was stunned, but not surprised to see the small bridge over the Waackaack Creek totally flood and impassable on Middle Rd. off of Palmer Ave and the portion of Palmer Ave., near Target, flooding all the way into Chery Tree Farm Village. Both these areas are notorious flood zones.

Holt Campaign Video : Dream
Congressman Rush Holt yesterday released his first campaign video of the year. It attacks his opponent Scott Sipprelle for being a Wall Street insider who favors tax cuts for the rich while opposing the minimum wage and equal pay for women.
It's a good first effort on the part of the Holt campaign, sutle yet hard hitting. It matches Rush's style to a tee.

New Corzine Video: More to Do
"More to Do" highlights how Governor Corzine has been fighting for what matters in these tough economic times- having the lowest property tax increases in the last decade; increasing funding for education, while cutting the state budget; expanding healthcare for all of New Jerseys children; and investing in creating new, good jobs.
Given these accomplishments, Governor Corzine emphasizes that there is more work to do and that he will continue to fight to make Jersey a better place to live and raise a family.

New Corzine Video: "True"
As the Star-Ledger recently highlighted, Corzine's ad "happens to be true" and Christies own website shows that he would allow insurance companies to drop mammogram coverage. By siding with the health insurance companies over the health of New Jersey women, Christie continues to be wrong when it matters most.

New Corzine Video: "Through"
Emphasizing Governor Corzine’s strong leadership on the economy, Corzine ’09 today released its latest campaign ad entitled “Through.”
The ad highlights how Governor Corzine has used his economic know-how to make the right choices for New Jersey in the face of the greatest global economic recession since the Great Depression- creating the nation’s first state economic recovery plan that has led to private sector growth, cutting the size of state government, and delivering record amounts of property tax relief.
On the other hand, Bush Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie has taken his lead from right-wing governors Sarah Palin and Mark Sanford and would reject $5 billion in federal stimulus funds that would create thousands of new jobs. Without those funds, property taxes would increase by $2 billion.

Democrats for District 11 Assembly, Bishop & Bolger Have Website Up and Running
Each candidate also has his own tongue in cheek campaign video that give the viewers very good insight into their personalities and need to be watched.
Randy Bishop: Warm and personable, but watch out because he's a "Hugger"
Rick Bolger: A wife's nightmare who mixes colors ands whites in the washing machine and who cuts the tags of his pillows, but who won't afraid to "mix things up" when it he gets to Trenton.
For those who don't know who Randy Bishop and Rick Bolger are:
Bishop is the former Mayor of Neptune and Rick Bolger is member of the Brielle town council. And as their website says " Randy and Rick know how to be public servants, not politicians".
