APP Gallagher Update

The Asbury Park Press last night issues an update on the case against moremonmouthmusings blogger Art Gallagher.

As of last night he has not yet been extradited to Delaware and charges against him are beginning to be leaked:

...Delaware State Police Sgt. Paul Shavack said Gallagher, of Linden Avenue, will face two felony counts of theft (over $100,000 each) and two counts of forgery upon his arrival. He declined to discuss details until the 53-year-old is formally charged.

Detective Nicholas Terranova said on Monday that he was unsure when Gallagher would be brought to Delaware, but said the extradition is “in the works.”...

U.S. Air Force releases flow chart of ‘counter-blog’ reponse plan

Think Progress- As part of its halting efforts to reach out to bloggers in constructive ways, the U.S. Air Force has assembled a “counter-blog” action plan aimed at responding to bloggers who have “negative opinions about the U.S. government and the Air Force.” The plan includes a detailed flow-chart that, as Danger Room explains, “lays out a range of possible responses to a blog post“.

Danger Room notes that the Air Force is trying to catch up with the rest of the Defense Department in terms of blogger relations. Despite blocking a significant number of blogs on its networks, the Air Force now has a Twitter feed and a blog of its own, thanks to a new public affairs “social media guru.”

MiddletownMike Received 10,000th Vistsitor Today

This may not be such a big deal to some other bloggers out there, but it something that I am extremely proud of.  At of 3:55 am this morning, the MiddletownMike blog recorded its 10,000th visitor.

Mr. 10,000th was from Madres, India and found the MiddletownMike blog through a google search for "shoe-Bush game", which directed him to my Wednesday's post Shoe Bush - The Game .

Since I starting blogging a little less 6 months ago, the MiddletownMike blog has averaged over 1650 unique hits a month and thanks to some very loyal readers, this blog has been consistently ranked within the top 8 blogs in the State by Blog Net News. 

Thank You to everyone who has checked out this blog, it has been a true pleasure and an honor to to me, that so many people would care what I have to say.
