Monday night's meeting of the Middletown Township Committee was uneventful and understandable brief given the time of year. Here are the main highlights:
- A check was presented to the Police K-9 Unit by Luke and Jack Kratz, from Bayshore Middle School.
- Winners of the house light decorating contest were presented with their awards.
- Ordinances were passed to add names of veterans to the list of street names, to reorganize the police department and to make a 4-way stop at the intersection of Borden and Pelican Roads.
- A resolution was adopted to refinance over $23M in bonds and notes.
As always, you can download a copy of the Meeting Agenda that contains the discussion items and the proposed resolutions and ordinances that were voted on or presented during the meeting. A box around an item is a link, bringing you further into the document to that resolution or ordinance. At the end of the resolution there will be a link bringing you back to the agenda. Attached to this agenda is also the monthly bill list, so that everyone can see how the Township is spending our tax dollars.
