President Obama's Weekly Address 1/9/16: America Can Do Anything
WASHINGTON, DC — In this week's address, the President remarked on the incredible progress that has been made in the American auto industry. Just seven years ago, the industry was on the brink of collapse, with plants closing and hundreds of thousands of workers getting laid off. The President made a decision in his first couple of months in office to place his bet on American workers and American manufacturing, implementing a strategy to bring the American auto industry back. Since then, Detroit-area unemployment has been cut by more than half, and automakers have added more than 640,000 new jobs. On January 20, the President will visit the Detroit Auto Show to see this progress firsthand. Because the story of the auto industry is an apt illustration of all that America has accomplished in the past seven years, and all that it can do.

I am happy that Obama made improvements throughout his term. He is also beginning to be one of the most personable presidents I have come to know.

Are you joking? Obama was elected a world were America was respected. Our allies trusted us and our enemies feared us. Now we have Iran boarding US navy vessels and taking the crew. Libya was no longer anti US until Obama and Clinton brought about a new regime that hates us and killed our ambassador in a undeclared war. The Russians did not fly bombers over US territory.
The only people who have better health care now than in 2008 are the medicaid recipients.
Race relations are worse now than in 2008 now we have black lives matter protesting.

Bush and Cheney,the war mongers, did so much damage to this country it will take years to repair our relations with some countries. Now the U.K. even wants to bar the republican front runner candidate from entering their country. The republican clown car load of characters are so nuts they all belong in a "fruit cake" !
Obama has been a very careful,thoughtful and measured president. Our citizens now all have access to health care,a marked improvement over the past. Obama saved the U.S. economy from a depression.... and as for Hillary....she will be the next president of the U.S.
