I had no idea Bruce Springsteen performed so many great cover versions of classic tunes when he's on the road. This one is a cover of the Bee Gees 'Staying Alive". He turned a 70's disco classic into a gritty & edgy rock anthem.
On this cover of INXS' "Don't Change", Springsteen took an 80's New Wave song of teenage angst and made it fresh and relevant for today's generation.
At a time when so many classic rockers are having a hard time getting radio exposure, these songs would get played on all the Top 40 stations without a doubt. I'd love to see a studio album full of these.
