MIDDLETOWN – The township will hold an online surplus auction starting at 9:00 am on November 6 ending at 5pm on November 12, 2014. A full list of the auction items will be posted online at www.usgovbid.com. The posting will include pictures, descriptions, terms of sale and other relevant information. Items for sale include a 1999 Broyhill truck with low mileage, 48 vehicles, two pianos, bicycles, and office equipment. Items can be viewed at the Middletown Public Works yard on November 5th from 9 am to 2pm. Public Works is located at 52 Kanes Lane, Middletown, NJ 07748.
Bidders must pre-register to participate. Successful bidders will be able to pick up their item or items at the township’s Public Work yard, 52 Kanes between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m on November 13 and November 14. Successful biddgers who do not retrieve their items by by 3 p.m. on November 19 may be will be liable for storage fees equal to 2% of the sale price per business day until the merchandise is removed by the buyer, for up to 10 business days.
