Apple Fest: Discover your favorite type of apple as you explore and celebrate the “foreign” fruit. There will be apples to taste, apples to press, and apples to dry. Appropriate for all ages. Meet at the Murray Farmstead.
Scarecrows: Great for families, school groups, and PTAs, your Scarecrow Build scarecrows from 2:00-3:00pm during Apple Fest, or bring finished scarecrows to the Nature Center. They’ll be displayed through November 11th! Sponsorship Levels are $35 for Family/Individual sponsors, $50 Community/Business and $20 Friends of Poricy Park (pre-made decorated scarecrow)
