In an effort to control excessive growth of waterborne plant life, aquatic
herbicidal treatments will be performed at Shadow Lake. The approximate treatment area includes the inlet section of the lake near Stevenson Park and extends eastwardly to portions downstream and along the shoreline of Shadow Lake. A follow-up herbicide application will be applied on or about September 8, 2014 weather permitting. The purpose of this second application is to treat plants that were washed free of herbicide by incidental boat traffic. This application will be completed in one day.
