How Dumb, Da, Da, Dummb....Dumb! Why Am I Not Going To Super Bowl XLVIII Media Day?

Super Bowl week kicked off yesterday here in the NJ/NY area and I'm kicking myself today. Two weeks ago I turned down an opportunity to attend today's Media Day event at the Prudential Center in Newark.  What was I thinking ?

 At the time it had something to do with not being in Newark after being there all weekend for work and having the hassle of getting there myself without a companion to share the ride and day with. I had thought about bringing my son but didn't want him to miss 2 days of school this week, we're going to NYC Friday for the NFL Experience's - Super Bowl Boulevard - that along a 10 blocks stretch of 7th ave between 34th st. and 44th st., ending in Times Square.

Reflecting back on my decision this morning I realize how stupid I was to miss out on this once in a lifetime event. I'm pretty sure I'll never have this chance again.

The pictures, video and stories I could have had for this blog and my personal memories would have been priceless.
