Well it's that time of year again, the Middletown Township Committee is looking for volunteers to fill seats on various Township boards and commissions. If your interested in volunteering to serving on one of them then I would encourage you to submit an application.
Be warned however, the odds of getting appointed aren't good. It seems that only qualified township residents (make that non-Democrats or those that may be affiliated with them) gain appointments to the various board and commission openings. But hay, at least they can't say you weren't appointed because you didn't apply, a tired excuse that so many have heard in the past.
