Blogging has been slow going of late but I hope to get caught up soon

If you haven't noticed lately, my postings here on the blog have been rather sparse. I've always tried to post something fresh everyday to keep readers interested and coming back but August thus far, hasn't been very kind or lent itself favorable to me. With just one family computer in the house, posting content to this blog during the summer months has always been challenging, I find myself fighting both my kids and my wife for quality computer time. Add on the usual work schedule, summertime barbeques with family and friends, going down to the shore and partaking in other various family activities - blogging gets pushed down line of things to do.

On top of all of the above mentioned my mother-in-law passed away in late May and I nearly lost my mother earlier this month! When my mother went to her doctor back on August 6th, she took one look at mom and sent her to the hospital where she had emergency surgery. If she had waited  any longer to seek out medical help, she would have died within hours from kidney failure and a gangrenous colon. My mother was lucky and is now in a local rehab facility doing extremely well and we expect her to be home by the end of the week.

Now however, as time has start to free itself up and life is starting to becoming a bit more normal around my house, I'm going to try and get caught up with my blogging by dumping a bunch of stuff, in no particular order, that has caught my interest or that has been filling my inbox for the past few weeks. A lot has gone on lately and if anyone had blink much they were sure to have missed something.

So starting with my next post and various other posts thereafter over the next couple of days, I'll be emptying the inbox and playing catch-up with blogging.
