What's There To Consider? Just Do It

Committee To Consider Action on Governor’s No-Interest Extension

Middletown, NJ - The Governor’s order issuing a November 16th extension for 4th quarter taxes does not include towns such as Middletown which had an already-scheduled accelerated tax sale for December before Hurricane Sandy occurred. As part of the township’s continuing effort to assist residents in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, the Township Committee will consider a resolution at a special Township Committee meeting tomorrow to waive the interest fee for fourth quarter taxes for those who pay their taxes by November 16 to match the governor’s order.
Payments must be made by cash, money order or cashier’s check.
