Far to many contempt of court warrants. Maybe if the court system in New Jersey wasn't backed up to all hell people would play along
Certainly people who are in contempt of court are subject to arrest. But why are so many of these people being arrested on contempt of court charges from other jurisdictions? Let Highlands round up their own bail jumpers!
Or does the Township receive reimbursement from these other towns for these arrests?
I would rather see Middletown police responding to actual issues in Middletown.
