Letter: Carol Fowler Has Learned How To Listen and Is Committed To Serving Middletown Residents

I believe that a person who serves a community as an elected member of a governing board must be able to listen to their constituents with patience and empathy. During 10 years of intense, often emotional, listening, Carol Fowler, candidate for the Middletown Township Committee, has learned that lesson well.

In her current work as Assistant Curator of the National Guard Militia Museum and Director of its Oral History program, Carol has recorded interviews with over 400 veterans who have shared their stories with her, often for the first time. Their tales are a mixture of humor, heroism, fear and wonder – unique personal accounts of ordinary people caught up in extraordinary events. These stories grew from Carol’s work developing the series, “Triumphant Spirit: America’s World War II Generation Speaks” produced for Brookdale College. Carol Fowler will always be remembered for capturing these stories that are treasured by family and friends and preserved in national archives.

Carol is as committed to serving Middletown residents with as much dedication and integrity as she has served our veterans. I hope every Middletown resident casts their vote for Carol Fowler. With Carol on the Committee, we will be heard once more!

Respectfully,
Marilyn Michaels

Yeah Anonymous 12:44p.m.,

The up and down signs across from my home for the republicans are being placed on private property with out the approval of the homeowner.

Be aware any republican sign placed on MY LAND will be removed. I don't support you and won't in the future!

On Halloween some asshole tried to ruin the signs supporting your opposition that were on MY LAND ,fixed them and they are in place! The low life AH's that think they can influence anyone with this crap .better think again. Have a good idea who the culprits are and have one thing to say to you....Go scratch my A$$, I'm voting for the Democrats! because am SICK to DEATH of the disgusting and disgraceful Republicans who distort, are dishonest and use every unethical tactic in the book. Politics at it's very worst.

31 years of one party domination in this town ,especially the bottom feeding current breed of republican in Middletown should not serve in any elected position . anywhere !!!! Behave like gestapo thugs !

Have no respect for anyone and wonder if the can even have respect for themselves.

Any signs on properties are put there by owners. Nice try.

Clean up your mouth with your gutter talk. Is that how you speak in front of your children also. Shameful. MM why print the vulgar language?

4:42: I know one home owner who keeps on taking signs down on his lawn. Maybe the GOP assumes all property belongs to them.

Anony 4:41 p.m.

The homeowner claims he's not responsible. Who is lying, him or you ,sugarbaby !

Do you really expect people to believe that. Some people may think they own the property, when in fact they know they do not.
It's a federal offense to take down campaign signs. I'd suggest to leave them alone.

Not if they are placed on what I own and pay taxes on,
