Crime Scene Middletown: Recent Activity 10/27-10/30

On October 27, 2011 Det. Kimberly Best arrested Kyle Clayton, age 19, from Thousand Oaks Drive in Atlantic Highlands for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Aggravated Assault as a result of an investigation into an assault that occurred on October 24, 2011 at a party of Dekarla Drive.

Police say Clayton struck the victim with a glass bottle when the victim tried to intervene and break up a fight that was taking place between two other people at the residence. Clayton was being held on $15,000.00 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

On October 30, 2011 Patrolman Nicholas Fenezia and Detective Kelly Godley arrested a 15 year old male juvenile from Belford, NJ, for Aggravated Assault and Hindering Apprehension as a result of an investigation into an assault that took place on the Henry Hudson Trail at approximately 8:50 pm.

Police say the juvenile mistakenly believed the victim had thrown eggs at his house at which point he followed him to the trail and assaulted him. The victim was transported to Monmouth Medical Center for treatment. The juvenile was being held at the Middlesex County Youth Detention Center.

On October 30, 2011 at approximately 2:15 am Corporal Ralph Flannigan was on patrol in the area of the Lincroft Liquor Store when he observed a male subject, identified as Radford Stokes, age 60, from Beechwood Road in Lincroft, NJ, attempting to break into the store using a hammer.

Corporal Flannigan conducted an investigation and determined that Stokes had broken glass out of a door and knocked the door knob off with the hammer. Stokes was charged with Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools and Criminal Mischief. He was released after posting 10% of $10,000.00 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

The Middletown Police Department reports the arrests of the following subjects for various offenses:

Sean Gilroy, age 23, from Richard Terrace in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 30, 2011 by Patrolman John Mele for Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving. He was released pending a court date.

Dennis Bannon, age 47, from Highway 36 in Leonardo, NJ, arrested on October 29, 2011 by Patrolman Joseph Ahlemeyer for Disorderly Conduct. He was released pending a court date.

George Keller, age 64, from Monmouth Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, arrested on October 28, 2011 by Sergeant William Colangelo for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving and Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer. He was released pending a court date.

Robert Noll, age 26, from Chingaroora Avenue in Keyport, NJ, arrested on October 29, 2011 by Patrolman James Beirne for Violating a Court Order and Harassment. He was held on $5,000.00 bail with no 10% option.

Joseph Francy, age 25, from Eighth Street in Belford, NJ, arrested on October 29, 2011 by Patrolman Frank Mazza for Terroristic Threats and Harassment. He was released pending a court date.

James Huber, age 21, from Brainard Avenue in Port Monmouth, NJ, arrested on October 28, 2011 by Patrolman Frank Mazza for Providing Alcohol to a Minor. He was released pending a court date.

On October 28, 2011 Sergeant William Colangelo arrested a 17 year old female juvenile from Belford, NJ, for Possession of Alcohol Underage. She was released pending a court date.

Seth Napp, age 23, from John Street in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on October 30, 2011 by Patrolman Greg Buhowski on a Contempt of Court warrant out of Middletown Municipal Court. He was released on $1,000.00 bail.

Serkan Ozciftci, age 28, from Boulevard East in Weehawkin, NJ, arrested on October 31, 2011 by Corporal Ralph Flannigan for Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving. He was released pending a court date.

John Cronin, age 19, from Buchanan Boulevard in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 31, 2011 by Patrolman Anthony Dellatacoma for Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving. He was released pending a court date.

Jonathan Dugan, age 23, from Broad Street in Port Monmouth, NJ, arrested on October 31, 2011 by Patrolman Richard Fulham for Unlawful Possession of Suboxone, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

Carla Nieves, age 31, from Autumn Drive in Tinton Falls, NJ, arrested on October 31, 2011 by Police Officer Janine Kennedy for Terroristic Threats. She was released pending a court date.

Stephen Dematteo, age 44, from Athurr Drive in Red Bank, NJ, arrested on October 31, 2011 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein for Violating a Court Order. He was released pending a court date.

David Foggy, age 41, from Shore Boulevard in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on October 31, 2011 by Patrolman Brian McGrogan for Disorderly Conduct. He was being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility on $1,500.00 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Rashon Martin, age 22, from Brainard Avenue in Port Monmouth, NJ, arrested on October 22, 2011 by Patrolman Jason Caruso on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $1,000.00 bail.

John Bleibdrey, age 28, from Hosford Avenue in Leonardo, NJ, arrested on October 31, 2011 by Patrolman Joseph Ahlemeyer on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Ocean Township Municipal Court. He was released after posting $251.00 bail.

Wayne Carhart, age 32, from Harmony Road in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 31, 2011 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and on Contempt of Court warrants issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold, NJ, on $4,000.00 bail.
